Sharon B. Ackerman, CPA
President and Consultant

Sharon B. Ackerman has more than 22 years experience managing accounting system implementations and providing systems consulting, which includes strategic information systems planning and financial consulting. She also has extensive experience with estimating and job/project cost accounting systems.

During her career, she was a Senior Manager for the tenth largest CPA firm in the U. S., an auditor for Ernst & Whinney and an accountant for a Fortune 500 company. In 1998, she started S Systems to provide accounting system consulting services.

Ms. Ackerman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and SMC Business Councils. She has been actively involved with the Central Ohio Builders' Exchange, the Central Ohio Builders' Industry Association and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Construction Committee. In 1996, Ms. Ackerman chaired the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants Construction Conference.

In addition, Ms. Ackerman has taught several management reporting, workflow, custom development, and 3rd party integration classes to the AEC (architecture\engineering\construction) industry.

In 1987, Ms. Ackerman received a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Information Systems from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. She passed the C.P.A. exam in 1988 and received her C.P.A. certificate in 1990.

Lisa A. Tarr
Consultant

Lisa A. Tarr has more than 22 years of accounting and financial information system consulting experience, which includes developing custom reports and providing workflow training and telephone support. During her career, she was a Senior Tax Accountant and has prepared federal and state corporate tax returns and estimates.

In addition, she has implemented accounting systems, maintained networks and managed an enterprise-wide fixed-asset system.

In 1993, Ms. Tarr received a B.S.B.A., Cum Laude, with a major in Accounting and, in 1998, a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Information Systems, both from Robert Morris College, Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
